Brandon Dimick, BJJ Black Belt, started training in 2007. For the first couple of years he trained Mixed Martial Arts with a focus on BJJ, at Cyclone MMA, in Elizabethtown, Ky, under Professor Jason "The Blind Fury" Keaton. Brandon had 3 amateur fights in the Kentucky Fighting Challenge, of which he won all 3 and earned the 155lb Title. During this time he competed in a few BJJ Tournaments and Army Combatives Tournaments, where he did very well. He earned his blue belt from Professor Jason Keaton and moved to Alaska shortly thereafter.
Once in Alaska, Brandon found a new home at Gracie Barra Alaska, training under Professor Jarvis Edwards. Over the course of the next 6 years, he competed in numerous BJJ tournaments and Army Combatives Tournaments. Brandon received his Purple and Brown belts from Professor Jarvis Edwards. While in Alaska, Brandon volunteered his time to teach free BJJ classes on Fort Richardson.
In 2014 he moved to El Paso, TX, and found a new home training with Brown Belt Justin Gonzales at Gracie Jiu-Jitsu El Paso Competition Team. During his time at Justin’s Academy, Brandon served as a coach and training partner for just over a year. Additionally, he started Fort Bliss BJJ where he offered free classes for military members, their families, and the DOD civilians.
Near the end of 2015, Brandon was reassigned to Fort Lewis, WA, where he spent a year training at Jiu-Jitsu Dynamics, under Professor Will Hagerty, in Lacey, WA.
In August 2016, Brandon moved back to Alaska where he spent the first year training with the Legacy Jiu-Jitsu family.
on 2 December 2017, Professor Jason “Blind Fury” Keaton promoted Brandon to Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
On 8 January 2018, Brandon started Arctic Warrior Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and is currently offering free classes to the Military Members, their Families, and the DoD Civilians that support the JBER community.
